A DESIGNATED NATIONAL HERITAGE AREA
Enhancing Growth in the Lower Hudson Valley The Sing Sing Prison Museum will be another major attraction in the region, located near other cultural and historic sites such as Kykuit, Lyndhurst and the Hudson River Museum. With access to several transportation options—car, rail, ferry, bus—the Museum can draw visitors from the tourist-rich market of New York City. It is estimated 130,000 visitors per year will generate increased tourist spending and job opportunities and contribute to the revitalization of downtown Ossining and the lower Hudson Valley.
